PP Spuns are a type of melt-blown cartridge manufactured using polypropylene material. The filtration in melt-blown cartridge filters happens “out to in” i.e., the filtration liquid flows in from the outside through the filter medium (melt-blown filter cartridge) into the hollow centre and is thrust out from the outlet. The melt-blown filters are available in porosities ranging from 1 micron to 50 microns, with the most commonly preferred as 5 microns.
